Gallery Hopping-Chelsea-Part 1

This past Thursday I had the opportunity of meeting two fabulous artists at their respectable gallery openings. While at the Agora Gallery for the, "The French Perspective: Contemporary Art from France," exhibit I was able to converse with French Artist Gildas Loyant. With him speaking in broken English and I attempting to speak French, the conversation was more than enjoyable as it ended with him asking me to pose next to one of his paintings. Check out a few of his works below: (Digital Print on Canvas)

Cays Caraïbes
Désirade Antilles
Cannouan Antilles

Born in Brittany, France, Gildas Loyant enjoyed considerable success as an art director for one of France’s largest advertising agencies, but for the past 25 years has lived and worked on the French-Caribbean island of Guadeloupe

His works will be displayed up until July 17th, 2009
Agora Gallery
Gallery Location: 530 West 25th St, Chelsea, New York
Gallery Hours: Tues - Sat, 11am - 6pm
