Kamaal the Abstract...Let's Build

Back in 2000 Arista Records(aka LA Reid) stopped the release of Kamaal the Abstract , branding it as “uncommercial.”

Tip explains it:

Set to release next week, September 15Th on Battery Records, the album has been re-mixed and re-mastered. Tip's musical experimentation's explodes onto the heavy diluted hip-hop/rap scene with it's progressive production and arrangements. Producing the entire album and even playing several instruments Tip leaves us wanting more. Filled with many breaks and instrumental solo's you may feel that your at some 3:00am jam session, heavily intoxicated with sound. Forming a dream team of jazz musicians the album includes appearances by:

Kenny Garrett- post bop jazz saxophonist, one-time member of Miles Davis’ ensemble...track 7-Abstractionisms
Gary Thomas- Internationally known tenor saxophonist, flutist and educator, another Mile Davis sideman...track 2-Do U Dig U

Tracks:
1) Feelin’
2) Do You Dig U?
3) A Million Times
4) Blue Girl
5) Barley In Love
6) Heels
7) Abstractionisms P/K/A Reverberator Factory
8) Caring
9) Even If It Is So
10) Damn You’re Cool [bonus track]
11) Make it Work [bonus track]

LET'S BUILD...
